AUSTIN, TX – Police in Austin are investigating the death of a man reported to have been struck and killed by a vehicle in a parking lot last month, CBS Austin reports.
The incident took place June 25 at a gas station at the 7-Eleven on West Parmer Lane near North Lamar Boulevard in north Austin. According to police, a store clerk called 911 to say a man had been run over in the parking lot by a silver vehicle.
The victim, later identified as 35=year-old Daniel Peter Foti, was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital. His death is regarded as suspicious, and police now want to speak with the driver of the car involved in the crash. It has been desribed as a silver or gray 2017-2020 Honda hatchback.
