AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a fatal wreck that occurred in Northwest Austin near the Upper Bull Creek Greenbelt on Thursday.

Fox 7 Austin reports that the crash happened just before noon near the intersection of North Capital of Texas Highway and Spicewood Springs Road. Austin-Travis County EMS encouraged motorists to avoid the area following the collision.

Medics say the crash involved an ejection and that one person died at the scene of the accident.
