DRIPPING SPRINGS, TX – Police are investigating a solo rollover crash that killed one person in Dripping Springs Wednesday, reports CBS Austin.

The accident happened around 6:06 p.m. on Hamilton Pool Road near Martin Cove, which is in the Hamilton Hills area.

It’s not yet clear what caused the vehicle to crash and overturn. Officials say that one person became entrapped and died at the scene of their injuries.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the victim.

Drivers likely experienced delays Wednesday evening along Hamilton Pool Road while crews worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
