SEGUIN, TX – A 59-year-old Austin woman died Saturday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in central Guadalupe County, reports Seguin Today.
The accident happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of southbound TX-123 and East Cedar Street on the northeast side of Seguin, just east of Seguin High School.
Police say that the driver of a southbound 2018 BMW collided with an eastbound 2022 Honda Pilot when the driver of the later vehicle ignored a red light.
The driver of the Honda, identified as Martha Cruz, sustained fatal injuries.
None of the other three people involved in the accident required hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
