MANOR, TX – A rollover crash involving a semi-truck along the highway between Manor and Elgin killed one person Saturday, reports KXAN.

The accident happened shortly before 9 a.m. in the area of 15700 US-290, which is east of Voelker Lane.

Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the wreck. They say it involved an 18-wheeler and a sedan and that the impact caused the truck to overturn, trapping the driver.

Authorities pronounced the truck driver deceased at the scene of the collision. They’ve not yet released their identity to the public.

The driver of the sedan sustained minor injuries. It’s unclear if they required hospitalization.

A full investigation is underway.
