AUSTIN, TX – A single-vehicle rollover accident along a highway in southeast Austin seriously injured two people on Saturday morning.

According to Fox 7 Austin, the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the southbound side of TX-130 just west of Del Valle and northwest of the Circuit of the Americas.

It’s not yet clear what caused the vehicle to crash and overturn. Police say that one person became pinned in the car and required extrication.

Both occupants were hospitalized; one was airlifted via Star Flight to Dell Seton.

A full investigation is underway.
