AUSTIN, TX – Two people went to the hospital Monday after a single-vehicle crash with entrapment in the Manchaca area, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 3:39 p.m. in the area of 1800 FM 1626, which is near the intersection with Brodie Lane.
It’s not yet clear what caused the collision, but police say that two people became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication.
Both patients sustained serious injuries but are expected to survive.
Officials warned of significant delays along FM 1626 and encouraged drivers to avoid the area.
