AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries Friday morning in a solo crash along the interstate in north Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 between Parmer Lane and Yager Lane. This is just northeast of Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, but they say one person sustained serious injuries after being partially ejected from the car.
Medics transported a second person to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Motorists likely experienced a slow-down along I-35 southbound in the area of the collision while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
