SPICEWOOD, TX – One person died last Friday after crashing his vehicle along a Spicewood roadway and overturning, reports KXAN.

The incident happened around 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of Lakehurst Road and Happy Hollow Road, which is in the Bowden neighborhood of Spicewood (not to be confused with Hippie Hollow, on the other side of Lake Travis).

The investigation indicates that the victim lost control of their 2004 Jeep Rubicon and overturned after leaving the roadway. The force of the crash threw the driver from his vehicle, and he died at the scene.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the name of the driver to the public.

A full investigation is underway.
