SPICEWOOD, TX – Medics transported one person to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center on Tuesday after a solo crash along the highway in Spicewood.

According to Fox 7 Austin, the incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on the westbound side of SH-71 near Hart Hollow Drive, which is just southeast of Pedernales Canyon Trail.

Crews at the scene found one person trapped in their overturned vehicle and worked to extricate them before transport. The victim is expected to recover.
