AUSTIN, TX – Medics worked to extricate a patient from an accident that occurred along the interstate in southeast Austin on Sunday night, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 10:01 p.m. on the northbound service road for South IH-35, just north of FM 1327 and near Onion Creek.
The cause of the crash is still unclear. Police say that one person became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication and transport via air ambulance to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for serious injuries.
