TEMPLE, TX – A 71-year-old man died last Wednesday after a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in southwest Temple.

According to KWTX 10, the incident happened around 10:04 a.m. at 31st Street and Scott Boulevard, which is just west of Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.

Police say that Christopher Norcross of Killeen was in the roadway when an SUV struck him while making a turn at the intersection. Authorities pronounced Norcross deceased at the scene.

The driver of the SUV stopped to render and speak with police.

A full investigation is underway.
