AUSTIN, TX — Three people were seriously injured Thursday night after a multi-vehicle crash on Farm to Market Road 973 in southeast Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

ATCEMS and Austin Fire crews responded to the scene near the Green Grove Drive intersection shortly before 9:16 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the accident, but three vehicles were involved, and one rolled over.

Medics declared three adult victims trauma alerts and transported them to South Austin Medical Center. Two victims sustained potentially serious injuries, and one victim was left in critical condition.

No further information has been reported on the circumstances behind the crash.
