TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — Three people were injured Monday evening in a collision involving three vehicles on Farm to Market Road 973 in Manor, reports CBS Austin.
The accident happened in the 15300 block of North FM 973 near Schmidt Loop at around 7:51 p.m.
Austin-Travis EMS crews were called to the scene to perform a vehicle rescue for three victims, including one who was pinned in one of the vehicles.
Crews were able to safely extricate the pinned victim, who was declared a trauma alert upon their removal. That adult victim was transported by airlift to Seton Williamson County with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
Another adult victim was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with possibly serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
A third victim sustained minor injuries but declined transport to a hospital.
Authorities shut down the road in both directions during the response, causing delays in the area.
