AUSTIN, TX — A 14-year-old boy died last Sunday after a two-vehicle collision in south Austin’s Franklin Park area, according to KVUE.
Austin Police Department said the crash happened in the 5500 block of Nuckols Crossing on November 7 at around 7:06 a.m.
A preliminary investigation found the teen was behind the wheel of a gray Audi going south on the road when he collided head-on with a green Chevrolet.
APD confirmed the teen died from his injuries at the scene.
The only passenger in the teen’s car was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening, while the driver of the Chevrolet was transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information has been released on the circumstances behind the event.
