AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported a bicyclist to the hospital late Saturday night after a car struck them at a busy intersection in South Austin, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened around 11:46 p.m. at the intersection of South 1st Street and Arbor Circle, which is just south of Williamson Creek Central Greenbelt.
Police have not yet shared many details regarding the accident. They say the cyclist sustained critical, life-threatening injuries, for which they were taken on trauma alert to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
