AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported a teen pedestrian to the hospital Tuesday evening after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. in the area of 1000 East Rundberg Lane, which is just east of I-35 and northwest of Gustavo L. Garcia District Park.
Police have not shared any details regarding the accident except to say that the teenager suffered serious injuries, for which they are receiving treatment at Dell Children’s Medical Center.
It is unclear whether the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
