AUSTIN, TX – One person died on Monday morning after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection near the Meadows of Walnut Creek.
According to KXAN, the incident occurred around 6:13 a.m. in the area of Johnny Morris Road and Johnny Morris Cove, which is just northwest of Colony Park District Park.
Police have not yet commented on the cause of the accident. They say the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash after EMS officials attempted resuscitation. It’s unclear at this time if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, and the incident remains under investigation.
