DEL VALLE, TX – A pedestrian died early Tuesday in Del Valle after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway, reports Fox 7 Austin.

The incident happened around 5:20 a.m. on the southbound side of FM 973 near Eva Street, which is just west of the Onion Creek Wildlife Sanctuary.

It’s still unclear what caused the accident. Police say that medics attempted CPR on the patient before declaring them deceased at the scene.
