AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died on Wednesday night after a vehicle struck them on the service road to a north Austin Highway.
According to KXAN, the collision occurred just before 8 p.m. on the southbound service road for North Mopac Expressway, just south of the junction with Highway 183. This is just south of the Domain and Q2 Stadium.
Police say the pedestrian died at the scene of the collision. They have not yet identified the victim, and it’s still unclear whether the vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene.
