DEL VALLE, TX – A pedestrian died Wednesday night in Del Valle after a vehicle struck them along the highway, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened at 9:12 p.m. in the area of 3000 TX-71 westbound, which is just northeast of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Police have not shared many details about the accident, and it’s not clear if the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
Medics attempted CPR at the scene but were unable to save the pedestrian. Authorities have not yet identified the victim publically.
