AUSTIN, TX – A 26-year-old pedestrian died last Saturday when a pickup truck struck her on a busy roadway in north Austin, reports KXAN.

The incident happened around 3:05 a.m. in the area of 300 East Howard Lane, which is between Greinert Drive and Spring Heath Road.

The investigation indicates that a pickup truck hit the victim as she walked in the inside land of Howard Lane.

The pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities identified her as Angela Marie Moreno.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene to work with authorities. A full investigation is underway.
