AUSTIN, TX – One person died on Monday night when a vehicle struck a motorcyclist along a state highway in west Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred at 8:22 p.m. in the area of 12412 West TX-71, which is just west of the Preserve at Barton Creek and just south of The Galleria in Bee Cave.
The circumstances of the accident are still unclear. Police say that the motorcyclist died at the scene of the collision.
