AUSTIN, TX – One person died Tuesday afternoon from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident along the highway in southwest Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred at 4:44 p.m. on West US-290 near Signal Hill Drive, which is near Oak Run and Cedar Valley.
Authorities say the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle and that one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released to the public.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident or if there were any additional injuries.
Drivers experienced delays along the highway while crews worked to clear the scene.
