AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a Friday night injury collision involving a vehicle and a scooter in the Quail Creek area, reports KXAN.

The incident happened at 7:51 p.m. on Rutland Drive near Stonebridge Drive, which is just west of Quail Creek Neighborhood Park and north of Rundberg Lane.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Medics transported one person to Dell Seton with serious injuries.

Officials encouraged drivers to expect delays in the area while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
