AUSTIN, TX – The driver killed in a collision on Tuscany Way in Northeast Austin last week has been identified by police, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Austin police said the victim was 28-year-old Armando Garcia-Sanchez. Investigators said he was behind the wheel of a Honda Pilot on Thursday when he slammed into a semi-truck near the intersection with U.S. 290.
Garcia-Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Honda was injured and hospitalized, but has since been released.
The incident remains under investigation by Austin Police.
