AUSTIN, TX – The adult male victim of Tuesday morning’s fatal crash on the MoPac Expressway near Scofield Ridge Parkway has been identified, reports KXAN.

A man and a child were killed in a single-vehicle rollover collision at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. The adult male victim of the collision has since been identified as 41-year-old maintenance worker Cesar Ramirez-Hernandez. Ramirez-Hernandez was on foot near the roadway when he was struck by the vehicle involved in the crash.
According to the Austin Police Department, his death and the death of the child in the rear seat of the vehicle are the first two Austin roadway fatalities of 2022.
