TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — A woman has died following a single-vehicle accident Tuesday, March 12, on U.S. Highway 290 in northeast Austin, confirmed the Austin Police Department.
The collision unfolded in the 9400 block of the eastbound service road at around 3:36 a.m.
While officials have not yet released a sequence of events leading up to the wreck, preliminary details indicate the victim was driving the involved vehicle.
She was rushed to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, March 14, according to a March 22 news release.
