BUDA, TX – One person died early Friday morning when a wrong-way driver collided with two semis and two passenger vehicles on the interstate.

According to Fox 7 Austin, the incident happened around 4 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35 near Main Street, which is just north of Pinballz Kingdom.
Police say that a southbound driver entered the northbound lanes of I-35 and crashed into two 18-wheelers and two other vehicles.
One person died in the accident. Authorities have not yet named the victim publicly.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Officials closed the northbound side of the interstate in the vicinity of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
