AUSTIN, TX – Two people went to the hospital last Friday after a wrong-way collision along an entrance ramp in South Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened around 3:50 a.m. on the ramp from southbound I-35 to westbound Ben White Boulevard, which is just south of St. Edward’s University.
Police say that a vehicle was driving the wrong-way on the entrance lamp at the time of the accident. Photos taken at the scene suggest that a white or silver pickup truck may have been involved.
One person sustained serious injuries in the accident, while the other was admitted with non-critical injuries.
It’s unclear if the wrong-way driver will face charges. A full investigation is underway.
