AUSTIN, TX — A 20-year-old man was killed last Tuesday night when his car was struck head-on by another vehicle near the Misting Falls area in north Austin, according to KXAN.

Austin police said the accident took place in the 11000 block of Jollyville Road at approximately 9:08 p.m.

The young man was at the wheel of a blue Hyundai when a black Honda CRV drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with his car before fleeing the scene.

The victim died at the scene.

An investigation remains underway as authorities seek information from possible witnesses.
