DEL VALLE, TX – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian along Doyle Road in Del Valle late Tuesday night, reports KVUE abc.

The incident occurred before 11:30 p.m. between Hokanson Road and FM 812, which is in the Rio Vista Ranch area.

Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the accident. They say that medics administered CPR at the scene to an adult pedestrian but were unable to resuscitate the victim.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased. 

It’s unclear at this time if the driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and speak with police.
