AUSTIN, TX – Two people went to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a major pin-in collision in southeast Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The crash occurred around 4:33 p.m. on the northbound side of US-183 at Burleson Road, which is on the southwest side of Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
Officials haven’t shared any details about the nature of the accident except to say that at least one person became pinned in their vehicle, and two people were hurt.
Medics airlifted one person to Dell Seton Medical Center on a trauma alert. The second victim went to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
