MUSTANG RIDGE, TX – A multi-vehicle crash along the highway in Mustang Ridge killed two people last Friday evening, reports KVUE.
The accident happened just before 7:45 p.m. on TX-21, or Camino Real, between Calder Road and Pr 2043. This is about 17 miles southeast of Austin.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident. Thus far, they say that three vehicles were involved and that two people died at the scene. Authorities haven’t yet released the names of the victims, and it’s unclear if there were additional injuries.
Photos taken at the scene show a black sedan and a white jeep, both with substantial damage.
The crash likely created substantial delays along TX-21 while emergency teams worked at the scene.
