AUSTIN, TX – A FedEx delivery truck caught fire on State Highway 130 this morning in Pflugerville. KXAN reports that the truck was traveling southbound when a mechanical malfunction in the vehicle caused the truck to catch fire. The driver was able to remove himself from the vehicle, and he reported no injuries in the fire.
According to the report, there was significant damage to the vehicle. Emergency personnel at the scene estimate the vehicle damage to be near $45,000.
