AUSTIN, TX – According to KVUE, a driver is in critical condition after crashing into a home in central Austin.

The accident took place on Preston Avenue on Monday just before 6 p.m. Medics believe that the driver may have suffered a medical issue before the crash. The patient was unconscious when first responders arrived at the crash scene. The patient was then hospitalized with life-threatening injuries that were likely caused by a medical issue rather than the crash.
