AUSTIN, TX – According to Austin Police reports, a two-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday afternoon at around 1:15 p.m. in West Austin. An officer from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department was on the scene at FM 620 near Mansfield Dam Road. A 58-year-old woman was driving too fast in heavy rainfall and crashed her 2015 white Mazda into a 2015 silver Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota, a 46-year-old man, was uninjured in the collision. The two vehicles sustained considerable damage, but the Mazda took the majority of the impact.
