The insurance company of the person who caused the accident is responsible for reasonable towing and storage costs.

If the vehicle is declared a total loss, the insurance company will pay to have it moved to a salvage or wrecking yard. If you do not grant the insurance company permission to relocate your vehicle, you will be liable for any storage or towing fees. You have a duty to mitigate your storage fees.
