WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX – Officials with the Williamson County Sheriff’s office have reported a fatality resulting from a crash along an Interstate 35 frontage road Tuesday evening.
According to KXAN, a collision and subsequent fire occurred within the 12200 block of the southbound I-35 frontage road sometime around 5:00 p.m.
Paramedics declared one person dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported resulting from the crash.
Officials were forced to close the frontage road for several hours while the crash was investigated. The road has since been reopened.
