AUSTIN, TX – One person died yesterday evening after being struck by an airplane at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Austin Police and Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on the scene at around 9:19 p.m. to runway 17R. One adult was in the runway when a landing aircraft struck the individual. EMS declared the person dead at the scene of the accident.
