AUSTIN, TX – According to CBS Austin, authorities have identified the pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Burnet Road ten days ago.
The accident took place on Saturday, October 10th, at around 2 a.m. George Grant, 52, was walking along the roadway when a black 2005 Ford F-150 struck him. Grant was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities have yet to locate the suspect. The truck likely has driver side damage on the front of the vehicle. Police have asked anyone with information on the crash to contact the Vehicular Homicide Unit as soon as possible.
The investigation into this crash is still ongoing and this story will be updated if more information is released.
