AUSTIN, TX – Earlier in the week, we reported that an unknown individual was killed after being struck by an airplane at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The incident occurred at around 8:15 p.m. and involved Southwest Airlines flight 1392 from Dallas.
Talk1370 has confirmed the identity of the deceased man as 22-year-old Junin Ko. Ko was not an employee at the airport, and Austin Police say the investigation is being treated as a security breach. This is the first time Austin-Bergstrom has faced a security breach and a death on the runway.
