AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died on Saturday morning after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in far east Austin, reports Fox 7 Austin.
Crews responded to the accident just before 11 a.m. in the area of 1300 FM 969 Road, which is near the Bud Dryden Airport.
Officials say the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim to the public.
It’s unclear if the vehicle involved in the wreck remained at the scene to render aid and speak to police.
