AUSTIN, TX – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash on U.S. 183 earlier this week. The Austin Statesman has reported that the victim was 40-year-old Jedidiah Ephraim Brown. Brown was reportedly inside her Nissan Altima that had broken down in the right lane of southbound 183 near 290 when a box truck rear-ended her at around 12:20 p.m. Brown was transported to Dell Seton Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The Austin Police Department is still investigating the incident. Anyone with more information is strongly urged to contact the vehicular homicide department at (512) 974-4424.
